Hand-carved from palo sangre wood with a matching paddle. This miniature Amazon dugout canoe is made by a Native artisan from the Peruvian Amazon and is inspired by the traditional wooden canoes used on Amazonian rivers and creeks. It makes a distinctive display for a desk, shelf, or tabletop.
Each piece comes with a tag listing the name and home of the artisan who made it and the plants used to create it. Because every piece is made by hand, slight variations in design make each one unique and may differ from the photo shown for this model.
